Once again the organiser’s of the Troy Wheeler Horse Trial put on a fantastic event.  The weather was brilliant and the property looked amazing. There were many successful wearer’s of AirVests and  a few who trialed the vests to see what they were like.

Dannie Lodder showed off the new H model in Red and Simon Gordon won the main class wearing his Black H model Vest. Next event is Puhinui ( trials are welcome so just contact me) and then I am off to HOY where I will be beside the horse entrance to the main arena.

What a weekend in Taupo. I think every rain coat and item of clothing was used in my truck! Congrats to new AirVest wearer  Sarah Dalziell for winning the Intermediate. Ashleigh McKinstry took out the Advanced and Dannie Lodder coming 3rd wearing a vest. Kirsten Kelly , Donna Smith , Zephania Steele, Nicole Lansdown, Francesca Silver all wearing vests and placing in classes. The hard luck story was Georgia Montgomery for having an unfortunate fall but great to hear she is ok and was really grateful to be wearing a vest.

Well for those of you whom watched the xc last night there were quite a few airvests going off, for some unlucky rider’s! Aren’t they a great invention to reduce injury and a huge % of rider’s were wearing them.

Congratulations to Team NZ for their great xc day and finfers crossed they bring home a medal tonight!

Congratulations to all those wearing Hit-Air Airbag vests and not needing them!

Winners in the CCI***, CCI**, CCI*, CCI* Open and CCN PN all wearing  Hit-Air Airvests!

Firstly, a huge congratulations to the NZ Young Rider Team that beat the Australian’s in the Trans Tasman event.

Also, it was great to see Sam Taylor, Amanda Brown and Kendra Walls all wearing Hit-Air Airvests being placed in their respective classes.

This weekend is a big weekend for eventer’s and we wish everyone the best of luck if you are competing at  Kihikihi.

We are also  hoping Donna Smith and Simon Gordon, (both users of the H Model Hit-Air AirVest) make the final team to take on Australia.

XC in the rain at Hunua

Well, the first event of the season is over and  rain on xc day made the grounds  a little slippery. There were certainly a few  falls in the pre-training class that I’m sure an airvest would have helped.

I showjumped my young horse in my airvest and it certainly gave me some  confidence as he was pretty excited with the atmosphere.

Next start we are at Papatoetoe Pony Club so feel free to come and chat about an airvest or trial one.
