Hit-Air vests in New Zealand
Kate is proud to announce the partnership with Mugen Denko Ltd and the “Hit-Air vest”.
“I have thoroughly researched air-vests on the market and believe Hit-Air to be the best – Kate Lambie”
AirVest NZ was established after Kate was searching for the best airvest for herself. The great thing about the vests is the fact that they are minimalistic, light weight and look good as well as providing a large area of protection including the neck.
Hit-Air Airvests have been on the market in the motorcycle industry from 1999 and for horse riding since 2003.
As an ambassador for CatWalk (Spinal Cord Injury Charity) Kate decided to bring Hit-Air Airvests to NZ to try and decrease injuries in the Equine industry as well as support Catwalk with a donation with each vest sold.
| As soon as the rider is thrown from the horse, the airbag inflates and protects the rider’s neck, back, chest, sides and hip.
Tests have shown the vest to reduce head acceleration by more than 50% and body acceleration by over 70%. |
|
| After the airbag is inflated in full, the gas leaks slowly through the gas release valve and a feeling of tightness will gradually subside. |
You can then replace the cartridge using a tool kit.
Hit Air vest are sold in over 20 countries around the world and used by the police for safety in many countries.
There are a few different models of the Hit-Air Vests and body shape does become a determining factor on which vest you are best suited too. Kate is able to help find the right vest for you to ensure the best protection.
